Hanna Lee Joshi is a Korean-Canadian artist based in Vancouver whose work is, at its core, an inner self portrait—a meditative mapping of her interior world through the female figure. Working in layered paint with coloured pencil built over the surface, she chases luminosity as a way of finding and sharing her voice. Her practice is as much about the making as the made, a slow, deliberate process of becoming visible to herself and, through that, to others.
