William Mophos

Born in São Bernardo do Campo, William Mophos began his artistic journey at the age of 14. His meticulously executed black-and-white realist technique explores poetic depth and the constant search for new forms of expression. His works, marked by an intense emotional charge, invite the viewer on an introspective journey and a reflection on the ordinary memories we experience. His current research, titled "Childhood Album," focuses on creating images that have visual and emotional connections on unusual surfaces, odds and ends found in his scavenging on city streets, in abandoned places, or in construction dumpsters.
